Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer & President Cambodia
Kelvin joined KrisEnergy when the company was established in 2009 as Vice President Legal and Joint Company Secretary. He was appointed President of KrisEnergy's Cambodian subsidiary in 2014 and negotiated with the Government of Cambodia the final petroleum agreement for the Block A Apsara oil development, the Kingdom’s first upstream development.
Kelvin became Chief Operating Officer of the KrisEnergy Group on 1 March 2017 and took over as Chief Executive Officer on 1 September 2017.
Prior to KrisEnergy, Kelvin was General Counsel for Aabar Investments PJSC based in Abu Dhabi following Aabar’s acquisition and subsequent divestment of Pearl Energy, where he was General Counsel and Company Secretary between 2005 and 2008.
Between 2003 and 2004, Kelvin was a Legal Associate at Wong Partnership LLP and Clifford Chance Wong (a joint law venture between Wong Partnership LLP and Clifford Chance Wong Pte. Ltd.). He began his career as a Legal Associate in the Technology Practice Group of Rajah & Tann LLP and went on to be an Associate Director (Legal) at Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd.
Kelvin graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the National University of Singapore and is an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He is also a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
