KrisEnergy holds interests in 13 licences in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam covering a gross acreage of approximately 33,124 sq. km. We operate nine of the contract areas.

Our portfolio contains two producing assets: the B8/32 and Wassana oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand, and the onshore Bangora gas field in Block 9 in Bangladesh. Nine contract areas contain a combination of development projects, appraisal targets and exploration prospects. The B9A fields in the Gulf of Thailand ceased production in 2017 and abandonment measures are underway before the licence is relinquished.

Our geoscientists, engineers and operations specialists each have at least 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia and have a successful track record across every facet of the exploration and production (E&P) life cycle. Through our experience and regional focus, we have firmly established relationships with national governments, service providers and other E&P companies in Southeast Asia.
