KrisEnergy holds interests in 10 licences in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam covering a gross acreage of approximately 17,566 sq. km. We operate eight of the contract areas.

Our portfolio contains three producing assets: the Apsara oil field offshore Cambodia, the B8/32 oil and gas fields in the Gulf of Thailand and the onshore Bangora gas field in Block 9 in Bangladesh. The other contract areas contain assets at various stages of the E&P lifecycle in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. The B9A fields in the Gulf of Thailand ceased production in 2017 and abandonment measures are underway before the licence is relinquished.

Our geoscientists, engineers and operations specialists each have at least 20 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry in Southeast Asia and have a successful track record across every facet of the exploration and production (E&P) life cycle. Through our experience and regional focus, we have firmly established relationships with national governments, service providers and other E&P companies in Southeast Asia.
